VIDEO
The video team is truly the “behind the scenes” team. Most of the team works out of the
control room (which has been dubbed ‘the wedge’) and are hardly seen, but their role is
vital to allowing people to enter worship and communicating the message each and every
weekend. The Director position is an all-weekend commitment; the other positions are
either Saturday night service or Sunday morning (all services). Breakfast & snacks are
available Sunday mornings.
General Positions on the Video Team:
- Director – the director is responsible for the entire video team, briefing, calling shots,
fixing last minute problems, and communicating with the rest of the production team.
- Operator – operates the video mixer under direction of the director
- Graphics – operates graphics for worship lyrics and sermon points; also person is
responsible for following the pastor in his outline and alerting the team to upcoming
points.
- Camera Op – operates a production camera in the auditorium under the direction of the
director
